That isn't a large skill tree, those are 5 upgradable abilities. It seems like there's an emphasis on acquiring and upgrading new skill to open up the world? It sounds like it's more of a hugely open meteoidvania in structure (notice the fragmented world). I don't think the game is actually open-world. Basically, give us a Halo ring that is fully exporable, and far less restricted by boundaries.Īlso, the only things I can see that even look remotely comparable to Far Cry are the things listed below (unless I'm missing something), and here's why I don't think any of them indicate Far Cry at all. To the people trying to compare this to Far Cry, I have a feeling you are missing the point of what Halo Infinite is going for here.Īs they've stated before, they are shooting to bring the original dream of Halo:CE to life.
